Silicon Valley Real Estate
Hi There! My name is Sheryl Martinez.
First and foremost: I have been in the real estate business for over twenty years!
I started out as a real estate assistant to my mother in law who opened her own brokerage in 1994, Pauline Martinez “PM” Realty. In 2000, we decided to join the newly opened Windermere Evergreen Real Estate Company in the Silver Creek Canyon Plaza.
In 2001, I became a licensed agent and immediately joined the real estate board, Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS(R). I have lived in the Evergreen community since 1984 and I enjoy working in an area that I know so well.
I do work the entire Santa Clara County area including the cities of Campbell, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Gilroy, Morgan Hill and of course San Jose. I have represented clients all over this Valley and I pride myself in giving them excellent representation and making the path of selling or buying real estate as smooth as possible. While I had been licensed since 2001, I did not really participate in “organized real estate” until 2007. I started attending Women’s Council of REALTORS(R) events and programs and soon became drawn to the leadership path it set out for me. In 2011, I was the local chapter president and during my time was awarded the “GOLD” national award for having fulfilled the expectations this national organization had laid out for each chapter.
This experience, plus the exposure to networking within the community, it has given me the confidence to be a better business owner, decision maker, and leader. That being said, I am always looking to improve and learn. Because of my twenty years in the business, my involvement with the real estate community, and my foundation as a support administration, I feel confidant in my duties as a REALTOR(R) and leading my clients to their desired outcome. I am a generally happy, enthusiastic and optimistic person. It is important to me that the experience my clients or future clients have with me is a positive one as I so care about their overall well-being. I have two teenage children, three dogs, and am happily married to a creative graphic designer. In my early years of real estate, I had the good fortune of being able to be a work at home mom. This afforded me the opportunity to have a career and also be the main care provider of my children. We enjoy road trips that include our dogs to the beach, Disneyland, Napa Valley, or hiking excursions. I feel that my strengths of rapport building, creative thinking and strategic planning, (plus a good dose of optimism) has attributed to my success in selling real estate.
