Why do I love living in Evergreen, San Jose. I have lived in Evergreen since 1979. The big attraction for me was being so close to the foothills and open spaces plus the wonderful parks that are in Evergreen. Evergreen is located in the south east corner of San Jose.
When I moved here in 1979 Lake Cunningham Park was being built. It has become a big attraction for all people who want to have a good time, picnicking, hiking, bike riding, and skate boarding. It is called Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park.
Evergreen has other lovely parks that also offer great space to relax, walk, meet friends, walk your dog, have family BBQs and even business parties. One of my favorite parks is Hellyer County Park, it is spacious, lots of trees, plenty of room to have parties and visit with friends. This park is so easy to find, right off Highway 101.
I also like the small parks that we have, such as the Aborn Park which is located right next to the Evergreen Library on Pentland Way and Renfield Way. Of course another great park that I have had many picnics and parties at is the Evergreen Park located tt Park Estates, next to the Evergreen Community Center.
This is the kind of neighborhood I live in and I love it. The fact that these parks are so close to my house and also so close to shopping areas to buy your goodies for your parties makes it ideal. My children all grew up visiting these lovely parks and enjoying fun outdoor activities. In addition to having all these wonderful parks you have access to other services offered in our community of Evergreen, San Jose, Ca, such as churches of all faiths, banking services of different institutions, schools, and a community college.
It is all here in Evergreen, District 8 of the City of San Jose, Ca.
